Although America, today, has appeared to have strayed far from our original intent; and consequently, our blessings as a nation appear to be evaporating before our eyes; it should be understood that to whom much is given; much is expected.
We are the only nation in history that has our beginnings as a nation, based upon the life, words and truth of Jesus, a lowly carpenter who believed in forgiveness of sins, the power of truth and love; and taught us of the two most important commandments. Love God and Love Our Neighbor.
We are here to be a light to the world exemplifying self government, progress, goodwill towards all humankind, equality and to share the evolved thinking of a group of men that won our independence from the tyrannical rule of the British crown.
To restore the light we once held, and to keep that light shining, America is presently being beckoned by the Supreme Judge of the World to return to the principles that forged a new and brave country called the United States of America.
These principles are clearly explained in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. These documents contain guidelines that have protected us from tyranny and religious rule for over 200 years.
The Constitution, based upon these principles, was written to protect us and future generations from the natural propensity of government, to use the force of law against the governed. The proper role of government, and the proper use of law, is to PROTECT our God endowed right to life, liberty and property; not take them from us.
George Washington said, "Government is not reason. It is not eloquent. Government is FORCE, a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
The Constitution, describes itself as the "Supreme Law of the Land". The Constitution was written to restrict government power and remind government that it derives its power from the People. Holding our elected officials to their oath to protect the Constitution is our greatest tool in restoring America to her former glory and prosperity.
The Constitution and the principles found in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights cannot protect themselves. In order for these documents to protect American citizens and our children; Americans must protect our Constitution, by holding our elected officials accountable to honoring the Supreme Law of the Land.
Please watch these very short videos that recite the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. They may just provide the education that every American needs to understand what TRUE American patriotism is all about. As long as all Americans embrace TRUTH, JUSTICE and LIBERTY; we will continue to be God's blessed nation.
Liberty requires citizen vigilance, awareness and involvement.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." -- Thomas Jefferson
We the People need to be able to articulate our rights and the principles of freedom our nation was founded upon, or we will lose both.
